Voices of Omaha proudly announces its 2017 media sponsor
Omaha World-Herald
Newspaper and digital Omaha.com ads will reach new audiences for Voices of Omaha’s 2017 Messiah performance. In addition to a large in-kind sponsor contribution of advertising, the advice and expertise of Omaha World-Herald staff will make best use of the chorus’ $3,650 marketing budget.
“The Omaha World-Herald is pleased to serve as media sponsor for Voices of Omaha’s 49th annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the Holland Performing Arts Center,” writes Joel Long, director of public relations for the World-Herald. “We are glad to provide support for this organization which has served the Omaha community since 1969.”
“Voices of Omaha is to be commended on its commitment to nurturing musicians of all ages and building a diverse audience and chorus membership as it looks to the future. … We look forward to working with Voices of Omaha on this worthy outreach project, increasing the opportunities for artistic enjoyment across cultural and ethnic boundaries,” Long writes.
Marketing Strategies
Voices of Omaha has well-developed marketing strategies. They include print, digital, broadcast, and social media. “We understand who our audience is and where to find them,” says Amanda Patrick, Voices of Omaha president.
- Posters and flyers strategically placed
- Print and digital ads carefully timed
- Engaging Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+ posts
- Press releases
- Television appearances by chorus representatives
- Grass roots marketing by the 200 chorus members
“The sponsorship of Omaha World-Herald is deeply appreciated,” says Patrick. “Also, we are a small nonprofit, raising funds all year to present this annual performance as a gift to the community. Their assistance is just what our chorus needs to help fill the Holland Center for Messiah 2017!”
Many, many thanks, Omaha World-Herald. We are looking forward to working with you!
